The Executive Committee of Wigtownshire Sports Council considers applications from members for financial assistance.
Applications are submitted for a variety of types of support. Some examples of recent successful applications have included awards made to:
- Individuals of Sporting Promise
- Individual Representation in Sport
- Coaching and Sports Development
- Sports Equipment
- Travel Expenses
Funds available to the Sports Council are provided by a grant from Dumfries and Galloway Council.
